MP Aleksandr Dubinsky registered a resolution in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on cancellation of the draft law No. 1043, which was passed by the parliament today, April 16, with 242 votes:
Dubinsky emphasizes that the draft law is unconstitutional, which is the reason why the Member of Parliament insists it must be canceled.
As Dubinsky.pro previously reported, the change of the parliamentary procedure in the Verkhovna Rada was being strongly enforced for the adoption of another unconstitutional draft law No. 2571-d, on banking activity. Pursuant to it, the creditors and depositors will no longer have the possibility to challenge unlawful decisions of the National Bank of Ukraine and Deposit Guarantee Fund. This could leave the people without money and without a possibility to defend their rights. The key purpose of the banking draft law is to help the former president Petro Poroshenko, former NBU governor Valeria Hontareva and their accomplices evade responsibility for embezzling from the banking system in the period from 2014 until 2016.
