Dubinsky collected over 50 signatures of deputies under an appeal to the Constitutional Court on declaring the appointment of Sytnik unlawful

MP Aleksandr Dubinsky collected over 50 signatures of Verkhovna Rada deputies under an appeal to the Constitutional Court of Ukraine in the case of the appointment of Artem Sytnik as director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau.

The goal is for the Constitutional Court to declare the Decree of President Petro Poroshenko on the appointment of Sytnik to this position unconstitutional since Poroshenko exceeded his authority.

“The authors of the constitutional appeal believe that the contested Decree of the President does not meet the requirements of part 4 of article 5, part 2 of article 6, part 2 of article 8, part 2 of article 19, paragraph 31 of part 1 of article 106 of the Constitution of Ukraine. Since the President of Ukraine, acting outside the limits of his constitutional competence, appointed the Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau as contested by the Decree,” the MP says.
