August 19, 2020, turned out to be abundant in various office appointments. The most prominent was the approval of the new head of the State Customs Service in the status of an interim Andrei Pavlovsky, who had previously been a deputy head of the customs department. He replaced Igor Muratov, who was accused of taking ineffective steps in the fight against smuggling.
“Pavlovsky is a man with no experience in customs, a chore boy of Finance Minister Marchenko, who henceforth controls all the flows of customs. And he is personally responsible for all the outrageous incidents there,” MP Aleksandr Dubinskyi comments on the appointment.
At the same time, information appeared that the shadow curator of the State Customs Service Sergei Ivanov urgently summoned his chore boy Oleg Pogorilovsky from Odesa to Kyiv. They say that Ivanov wants to replace the suddenly appointed Pavlovsky. And Pogorilovsky has already trumpeted to everyone that in a week he will become the new acting president chairman of the SCS.
Customs Service is not alone on the list of yesterday's appointments of the Cabinet of Ministers. A number of deputy ministers were also approved, and the appointment of several directors of state enterprises was agreed upon.
For example, Yulia Shevchuk, who previously headed the legal department in the same structure, was appointed to the post of the first deputy chairman of the State Agency of Ukraine for Cinema. According to the candidate's declaration, she earned UAH 436 thousand in 2019.
A certain Serhiy Tkach was appointed to the post of deputy chairman of the State Inspectorate for Energy Supervision of Ukraine. He had previously worked in a similar structure in the office of the State Inspectorate of the State Power Industry Inspection of Ukraine of the State Power Enterprise National Power Engineering Company. His whole life is concentrated in Zaporizhia, where he owns a 90 sq. m. house. He is a co-owner of 1 thousand sq. m. land plot and 82 sq. m. apartment (not yet commissioned). He also owns two cars: a 2010 Hyundai IX35 and 2006 Mitsubishi Galant. He earned almost UAH 699 thousand in 2019. The Tkach family keeps UAH 283 thousand, USD 30 thousand, and EUR 20 thousand in Oschadbank.
Two deputy heads of the State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography, and Cadaster were appointed. One of them is Yegor Bodrov, who is raising five children. He has several apartments in Kyiv, a land plot, and a 346 sq m house. He is an owner of Bodrov's Legal Bureau.
The second deputy is Pavel Shevchenko, according to the filed declaration, owns a small part of the house located in the village of Mikhailovka-Rubezhovka, Kyiv-Svyatoshinsky district in the Kyiv region. He is also the author of the computer program National Cadastral System.
Igor Yakovlev was appointed as a State Secretary of the Ministry for Strategic Industries of Ukraine. He had served as the Chairman of the State Environmental Inspection of Ukraine until August 2019. He was suspected of the embezzlement of UAH 15 million allocated for the disposal of hazardous waste.
Finally, Olga Muzychenko was appointed as the new state commissioner of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine.
